According to a new report from The Game Business, Xbox is preparing to announce more games coming to other platforms "in the coming weeks." However, the specific games are yet to be determined. But it’s less than a month before Gamescom and a possible Nintendo Direct, and we may find out by then.

Xbox has undergone significant transformation over the past year. The protracted competition with PlayStation that has supported console-exclusive games for fifteen years seems to be coming to an end, because Xbox is now actively porting games to other platforms such as PlayStation 5 and Switch 2.
The shift started with Soundwave, The Rise and Fall, and Sea of Thieves, and was followed by Raiders of the Lost Ark, The Elder Scrolls IV Remastered, and Forza Horizon 5. Among them, "Forza Horizon 5" has even become the best-selling game on the PlayStation 5 platform so far in 2025.

It's likely that, given time, the vast majority of Xbox's first-party game lineup will appear on consoles that were once considered rivals.
