US President Donald Trump announced in a post on Truth Social that he has nominated Jared Isaacman to be the administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Jared Isaacman is an American businessman, pilot, philanthropist, and commercial astronaut. He is the founder of private air force Draken International and founder and CEO of Shift4. As of September 2021, he is worth $2.4 billion.
On December 4, 2024, Isaacman was nominated by Trump to be the administrator of NASA. But its nomination was withdrawn in May 2025.
