Recently, former Rockstar animator Mike York explained why the PC version of "GTA6" cannot be synchronized with the console version. Foreign media Dsogaming believes that it is just a bunch of excuses, nothing more. York claimed that Rockstar needs more time to polish the PC version of "GTA6" because PC configurations are many different compared to consoles. He also claimed that Rockstar can add more content to the PC version due to the power of the PC.

Dsogaming said that Ubisoft previously released "Avatar: Pandora's Frontier" on multiple platforms. The game has a huge world to explore, the graphics are excellent, and it runs very well on PC. Ubisoft can release this well-made game on both PC and consoles, but Rockstar can't?

There is a better example. Earlier this year, DeepSilver released "Dead Island 2", which was launched on both PC and console platforms. The game was difficult to develop, but Dambuster Studio developed five versions at the same time. Dsogaming would like to ask York, Rockstar has so many resources, but it cannot compare with Dambuster? It's just nonsense.

As for Rockstar adding new features to the PC version...why does the PC version of "Give Him Love 5" not have a ray tracing effect? PCs are more powerful than consoles, but we haven’t seen ray tracing. So what York said was just an excuse.

Dsogaming believes that York is trying to praise Rockstar. After all, it is his old club, so he will not give other reasons. In fact, Rockstar is not delaying the release of the PC version in order to further polish the game. They do this to increase revenue (the PC version is easy to crack, which will affect sales. The console version is very difficult to crack). Secondly, a year after the game is released, they can start marketing the PC version again. Let players make repeat purchases.

So please shut up dear developers, we all know the truth. PCs with complex configurations were still usable in the 1990s. But in this day and age, that excuse no longer holds water. When many studios develop games, they develop console and PC versions at the same time. After the game is released, it runs very well on PC. If these studios can do it, Rockstar can do it too. Unless there's something else stopping them, it's money money money!

Finally, let's not even mention the games that had performance issues on PC this year; these games performed even worse on consoles. For example, "Star Wars Jedi: Survivors", "Lord of the Rings: Gollum", "Legend of the Immortals", etc., the console versions of these games are worse than the PC versions in terms of graphics and operation.
