Nearly four years after its initial release, Elden's Circle's success is well known. Not only was the game a huge success for FromSoftware, it won multiple Game of the Year awards and broke DLC sales records, propelling the beloved studio to new heights.
"Elden Ring" also opens up new opportunities for FromSoftware in the field of online service games. Earlier this year, the team tried a completely different model with the release of Elden's Circle: Reign of Night. Since then, the entire IP has sold nearly 50 million units.

Yesterday, Bandai's official blog released news, announcing that "Elden Ring: The Lord of Night" has added DLC "See the Hollow", and the cumulative sales exceeded 2 million in three days after it was launched. This DLC marks another success for the series. According to the latest sales data, the sales volume of "Elden's Circle: Lord of the Night" has exceeded 5 million copies.
On the other hand, the current sales volume of "Elden's Ring" has exceeded 30 million. Coupled with the 10 million sales of the DLC "Shadow of the Golden Tree", the series has sold close to 50 million units in just over three years.

Although there is currently only one complete game in the series, "Shadow of the Golden Tree" and "Dark Night" are both close to full price at release, priced at $40. The latest DLC for "The King of Night" is currently priced at $15.
This means that, at least in terms of the price of each piece of content, there is not much difference between the products of the "Elden Ring" IP and the series of games released in three separate versions.
Ultimately, the 47 million milestone is significant and will ensure FromSoftware can keep this IP alive for years to come. FromSoftware also announced that "Dusk Bloods" will be its next blockbuster game in 2026. Therefore, next year may be even brighter for FromSoftware.

DLC "Seeing the Hollow" will be launched on December 4
