AdultSwim previously announced a trailer for "Rick and Morty: Japanese Comic Version", which is in production and will be directed by "Tower of God" director Takashi Sano, with a total of 10 episodes. Recently, AdultSwim officials released a new "sneak peek" trailer on the YouTube channel. In this preview video, you can see that Morty does not appear. Instead, Summer takes command and guides Rick to drive the spaceship to navigate in the twisted space.

But something soon changed. Many Ricks from different universes suddenly appeared in the twisted space. They were collectively sailing in the opposite direction of the protagonist Rick. This seemed to mean that Rick would have to face the test of Rick City again.

Although the trailer did not reveal any more content, AdultSwim confirmed that Japanese voice actors Yohei Tadano (playing Rick) and Keisuke Chiba (playing Morty), who have previously participated in the production of "Rick and Morty", will return as the titular duo sometime in 2024.

Coupled with the degree of completion in this pilot trailer, it may indicate that "Rick and Morty: Japanese Comic Version" will be launched during 2024.
