Xiaomi Motors has powerful autonomous driving, smart cockpit, and car-machine systems, all of which are inseparable from the powerful computing power and technical support of the underlying hardware. Xiaomi Motors also uses popular NVIDIA and Qualcomm hardware solutions. In terms of autonomous driving,Xiaomi cars are equipped with two NVIDIA DRIVE Orin chips.

It is based on NVIDIA's new generation GPU architecture, ArmHercules CPU architecture, deep learning and computational vision accelerator, integrates 17 billion transistors, and can provide 254TOPS of computing power, which is nearly 7 times that of the previous generation Xavier.

The total computing power of the two chips reaches 508TOPS, which is 508 trillion calculations per second.

The NVIDIA ADDRIVE Orin platform can provide sufficient power support for autonomous driving, confidence view, digital cluster, and AI cockpit, covering different levels of autonomous driving from L2+ to L5.

In terms of smart cockpit,Xiaomi cars are equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295, which is Qualcomm’s fourth generation and the most powerful cockpit chip to date.

It integrates the sixth-generation Kryo CPU with a performance of up to 230KDMIPS, the sixth-generation Adreno GPU with a performance of 3.1TFlops, and 30TOPSAI computing power.

Lei Jun said that thanks to the Snapdragon 8295, Xiaomi Auto's ThePaper OS combined with five-screen linkage can be the fastest and smoothest.
