Anthropic recently launched a new feature called "Reflect" for its artificial intelligence assistant Claude. The feature is designed to help users review and analyze their interactions with Claude, and is presented in a format similar to the popular "Spotify Year in Review."

Through "Reflect", users can view detailed statistical reports on their use of Claude in the past 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. This report not only covers users’ usage duration and frequency, but also provides an in-depth look at the key topics, usage habits and types of tasks users use when using Claude. Anthropic says the feature is designed to guide users to take a step back and examine Claude's role in both his personal life and work. In order to inspire users to think, the system will also proactively make some suggestions, such as asking users, "Even if Claude can complete it faster, is there something you still want to do yourself?"
In addition to the review function, Anthropic has also introduced more practical management tools, including setting "quiet time" or regular reminders to prompt users to take a proper rest after long use. In addition, users can also combine the insights provided by "Reflect" with its "4D AI fluency framework" (covering the four dimensions of authorization, description, analysis and diligence) to explore more efficient ways of working in collaboration with AI and obtain improvement suggestions.
In terms of privacy protection, Anthropic made it clear that the "Reflect" function will not capture users' private chats (incognito chats), nor will it read underlying files in connected tools; conversation content involving health-related integrated tools is also excluded from the scope of analysis. In addition, the information displayed by this function is only for the user's personal reference and will not be used for other purposes. Currently, "Reflect" is open for testing to Free, Pro and Max users who have turned on the Memory function. Users can find this option through the settings interface of the web or desktop application.
