Apple recently raised the prices of some AppleCare+ subscription plans. In the U.S. market, AppleCare+ monthly subscription costs for Mac and iPad models have increased by $0.50, while annual subscription plans have increased by $5 overall.
This price adjustment is only effective for new subscribers. This means that existing customers who have purchased AppleCare+ services for their devices will continue to maintain their current subscription prices and will not be affected by this price increase.
It is reported that before the AppleCare+ service price adjustment, affected by the global memory chip shortage and rising component costs, Apple had already raised prices for all of its iPad and Mac product lines. The hardware price increase ranged from US$100 to US$1,300.
However, Apple has not increased the cost of its AppleCare One subscription plan launched last year. Currently, AppleCare One remains priced at $19.99 per month, and the plan can cover up to three Apple devices. If you need to add more products to the protection plan, users can add them for $5.99 per month.
Prior to this, Apple had increased the AppleCare+ plan for iPhone by 50 cents in early 2025. Market predictions indicate that when the new iPhone is officially released in September this year, related service prices may face further increases.
