The "Garfield" animated movie produced by Sony and produced by Alcon Entertainment has revealed a new New Year's Eve poster and is scheduled to be released in North America in the summer of 2024. Adapted from the comic book of the same name by Jim Davis, the "Garfield" animated movie is directed by Mark Tindall and written by David Reynolds. Chris Pratt, Samuel L. Jackson, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Hannah Waddingham, Cecily Strong, Harvey Jean, Brett Goldstein and Bowen Yang serve as the main voice actors.
The four-panel comic "Garfield" created by Jim Davis since 1987 tells the story of a cat named Garfield and his owner Lao Jiang. The work centers on three characters: the narcissistic and independent Garfield, the indecisive Jiang, and the simple, empty-headed puppy Odie, who lead an interesting daily life.
The animated film stars "Guardians of the Galaxy" "Star-Lord" actor Chris Pratt as the protagonist Garfield, and Samuel L. Jackson will also participate in the voice performance of a brand-new character "Vic".
This movie will describe the unexpected encounter between Garfield and his long-lost father, the bearded street cat Vic, and he and Odie are forced to join Vic and get involved in a robbery.
