[Two major science and technology innovation platforms for brain-computer interface in Wuhan unveiled] On September 19th, the Wuhan Brain-Computer Interface Concept Verification Center and the Wuhan Future Industry Technology Innovation Scenario Laboratory were officially unveiled at Tongji Hospital Affiliated to Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology on September 18. The proof-of-concept center is mainly responsible for technical verification work such as animal experiments, researcher-initiated research, and multi-center randomized double-blind GCP experiments, etc., to lay a solid foundation for the safety and application effectiveness of brain-computer interface technology. The Future Industrial Technology Innovation Scenario Laboratory focuses on clinical application and promotes the expansion of brain-computer interface technology into entertainment, education, high-risk industries and other fields, and builds a complete closed loop of basic research, technology transformation, and industrial implementation.
