According to MediaTek's official post on X, this new product is positioned as a "professional-grade chip" (pro chip), will bring a "pro experience" and emphasize its capabilities in "pro efficiency" (pro efficiency) and "pro imaging" (pro imaging), supporting 4K 240fps slow-motion video shooting. In terms of game performance, MediaTek promises to provide "AI-enhanced graphics", an upgraded version of the HyperEngine engine, and "immersive ray tracing" functions to further enhance the "professional-level gaming experience" (pro gaming).

At this point, previous rumors about the chip being named "Dimensity 9600 Pro" have been basically confirmed. It's unclear whether MediaTek will launch a "Pro Max" version at the same time, or if it will also release a non-Pro standard version of the Dimensity 9600. As the launch date approaches, these suspense are expected to be revealed within a week.
