More pictures of Samsung Galaxy Buds On have recently leaked, showing the clip-on design of this headset. Previous rumors had called it Galaxy Able, but later information revealed that the final name of the product was Galaxy Buds On. Unlike traditional earphones that are inserted into the ear canal, these earphones are fixed on the ears with clips and are expected to be more suitable for long-term wear.
It is said that Galaxy Buds On uses open air conduction technology to transmit sound to the eardrum through the edge of the ear canal. The specific implementation method is currently unclear. Rumors also claim that the headset supports a nodding gesture similar to Galaxy Buds 4. Users can nod to answer incoming calls and shake their heads to reject calls; it also supports AI assistants such as Bixby and Gemini.
Due to its open structure, Galaxy Buds On are not expected to support active noise reduction. The earphones are said to have the function of automatically increasing the volume in noisy environments so that users can still hear the content clearly when the surrounding noise is loud.
Samsung has not announced the release time of Galaxy Buds On. The earphones were not released with the new Galaxy Watch, nor were they unveiled at the launch of the Galaxy S26 FE or Galaxy Tab S12 series.
