Abstract:
Razer officially released the new Basilisk V4 series gaming mouse product line, and simultaneously launched the Razer Mouse Dock V2 Pro wireless charging base. As the latest generation flagship product of the Baselis snake family, the new series has been comprehensively upgraded based on ergonomic design, further enhancing custom control, wireless performance and RGB immersive experience.

The core product launched this time is Basilis V4 Pro. Razer said that the new product continues the familiar ergonomic shape of the right hand of players, while integrating a number of new technologies, including 14 customizable buttons, the second-generation HyperScroll Tilt Wheel, the third-generation Focus Pro 50K optical sensor and the second-generation HyperSpeed Wireless wireless technology, hoping to achieve a higher balance between comfort, performance and functionality.
In terms of appearance, the iconic thumb rest design of Basilis Snake is retained, while the acclaimed multi-function trigger button has been rearranged to be more in line with natural operating habits. The mouse also adds a third side button and a new M1 edge shortcut key. With the added functions, the weight of the entire machine is actually 12 grams lighter than the previous generation.

In order to further enhance the personalized experience, Basilis V4 Pro provides a total of 14 programmable control buttons. Players can use the Razer Hypershift function to assign a second layer of commands to a single button, or configure macro commands and smart profiles through the Razer Synapse software, so that the mouse automatically switches to the corresponding operation plan after starting a specified game.
The scroll wheel system has become one of the focuses of this upgrade. The new second-generation HyperScroll Tilt Wheel supports multiple scrolling modes. The traditional tactile mode provides 24 segments of scrolling feedback; the new fine tactile mode increases the scrolling step to 48 segments, suitable for quickly switching skill bars and item menus; the free scrolling mode enables high-speed continuous scrolling. In addition, Smart-Reel intelligent mode can automatically switch between paragraph and free scrolling modes according to the scrolling speed.
In terms of performance, Basilis V4 Pro is equipped with the third-generation Focus Pro 50K optical sensor, with a maximum resolution of 50,000 DPI, and is equipped with the fourth-generation Razer optical micro-motion. Officials stated that the new micro-motion design can provide faster response and longer service life to meet the needs of competitive players.

Wireless connectivity has also been enhanced. The second-generation HyperSpeed Wireless technology supports native 8000Hz wireless rate of return and provides five-device connectivity. Users can quickly switch between different devices with a single button, enabling seamless collaboration between computers, laptops and other compatible devices.
In terms of lighting system, Basilis V4 Pro is equipped with seven-zone Chroma RGB lighting effects, and for the first time adds a complete bottom ambient light strip design. The mouse can be linked with games and peripherals that support the Chroma ecosystem to provide players with richer visual feedback.
In addition to the flagship version, Razer has also expanded its Basilis V4 product lineup to provide a variety of options for users with different budgets and needs. These include the Basilis V4 HyperSpeed version that emphasizes battery life and portability, as well as other derivative models targeting more mainstream player markets.

Razer says the Basilis Snake series has long been one of the company's most popular lines of ergonomic mice. This release of the V4 series is not only a regular iteration, but also the largest upgrade of the series to date. The company hopes to bring players a flagship-level operating experience covering various game scenarios through a higher degree of freedom in customization capabilities, a more advanced scroll wheel system and an enhanced wireless experience.
