Abstract:
Apple officially launches the first MacBook Pro equipped with a touch screen. This new product is equipped with a PROLED XDR display and a new smart island, no longer using the traditional notch screen form, and is priced from 22,999 yuan.
After the release of MacBook Pro, many bloggers shared a speech given by Apple founder Steve Jobs at the press conference on social platforms. In 2010, Jobs publicly opposed putting touch screens on laptops at a press conference.
He believes that the touch screen looks cool during the demonstration, but in reality it will tire after a short time, and over time, the arm will feel like it is going to break. When he finished saying this, the audience burst into laughter.

In Jobs' view, notebooks are productivity tools that are used for a long time. Frequently raising your hands to touch them will cause soreness in your shoulders, neck and arms. This "vertical touch" interaction method is naturally not suitable for high-intensity and long-term operation scenarios.
After 16 years, Apple still applies a touch screen to the latest MacBook Pro. Apple claims that the MacBook Pro's touch sensor is embedded directly into the display panel, which greatly reduces latency and makes it feel like you are touching the content itself directly.

Whether it is scrolling or pinching to zoom, various daily operations are natural and responsive, such as manipulating 3D objects or playing virtual instruments. Developers can personally test the touch effects in their respective iOS apps.
From Jobs’s public opposition back then to Apple’s introduction of touch screens on MacBook Pro, the outside world’s discussion of notebook touch interaction has heated up again. This new product will be available for pre-sale at 9 a.m. on October 30 and will be officially released on November 6.
