However, according to a wide-ranging research report released by industry analysis agency Omdia on September 3, analysts in the panel field pointed out that Apple has abandoned its research and development plans for this full-screen foldable device.
At the same time, another OLED MacBook Pro derivative model that is rumored to be launched soon may also face the fate of being canceled.
Market observers mentioned in the product roadmap analysis that Apple may have adjusted its product planning, or this full-screen folding device was never really launched in the first place. The report also pointed out that Apple plans to launch a new product with a 13.8-inch OLED screen in 2029, which will be positioned between the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air and serve as a transition model between the two.
