Abstract:
Apple announced on the same day that the iconic back-lit Apple logo will return on the latest MacBook Pro. In 2016, when Apple redesigned the MacBook Pro, it canceled this luminous design and replaced it with a polished, non-luminous logo; now it is back, allowing the most recognizable design element of this notebook to be illuminated again after ten years.

"Our review of the new MacBook Extremely excited about the Pro - it lights up. You have to touch it to believe it," John Ternus, Apple's senior vice president of hardware engineering, wrote on social platform X.
Reports pointed out that the early luminous logos borrowed the light from the screen backlight. The new MacBook Pro is equipped with a "PROLED XDR display". Each pixel of the OLED panel emits its own light and no longer requires an independent backlight. Therefore, the new machine must use a new way to light up the logo.
In terms of price, the 14-inch model of the new MacBook Pro starts at US$2,899, and the 16-inch model starts at US$3,399.
