Apple is likely to officially release Beats 360 headphones this month. According to the latest disclosed firmware updates, previous regulatory filings in many places, and retail page information, the release time of this new product is getting closer.
Apple today released firmware update 4A203 for the upcoming Beats 360, which usually means a product launch is approaching. Beats 360 has appeared in multiple regulatory databases and retail listings over the past few months, and stars such as Lamine Yamal and Antonee Robinson have been photographed wearing the headphones at events related to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The name Beats 360 was first confirmed in product listings on multiple Amazon and other resale sites, although some of those pages have since been removed. These listings show that this headset will be available in at least four colors: black, Cloud, Sky, and pink. The earcups and headband will also provide replaceable Performance Knit and UltraPlush materials, and will be extended to more color options such as Volt, Navy, etc., to facilitate users to customize the appearance.
In terms of design, Beats 360 has certain similarities with AirPods Max, using a retractable headband arm structure to adjust the wearing position more smoothly. Related product information also mentions that its noise reduction capability is up to 1.75 times that of Beats Studio Pro, which will be released in 2023.
In terms of functionality, the listing states that Beats 360 will be Apple’s first over-the-ear headphones that are sweat-proof and waterproof, with a protection level of IPX4.
