CCTV.com Kuaikan reported that recently, the domestic four-legged bionic fire-fighting machine wolf "Fireproof Sirius" successfully completed its first actual fire drill. This drill simulated the search and rescue scene of building fire ruins, and the robot wolf arrived first to identify dangers.
This equipment is specially designed for high-risk fire scenarios. It can replace firefighters to perform reconnaissance missions deep into the core areas of dangerous fire scenes, provide accurate and critical intelligence support for on-site rescue, and minimize casualties.
Compared with traditional wheeled firefighting robots, its four-legged bionic structure has outstanding advantages. It can easily pass through rubble and debris after fires, climb damaged steps, adapt to complex and changeable fire terrain, and can right itself after the equipment is dumped. It has stronger environmental adaptability.
The equipment integrates a full set of professional sensing loads, equipped with a thermal imaging dual-light pan/tilt, multi-category gas sensors, 360° high-definition cameras and life detection modules.
It can penetrate dense smoke to locate the fire source, detect the concentration of flammable and toxic gases in real time, search for trapped persons, and transmit all on-site data and images back to the command platform in real time, effectively avoiding the fatal risks of high temperature burns, explosions, and building collapses for firefighters.
Equipped with a customized high-temperature-resistant protection kit, it can operate continuously in a 500°C high-temperature fire field for 2 minutes under extreme working conditions, and is used for short-term high-risk close-in reconnaissance.
It should be pointed out that the "Fireproof Sirius" mainly focuses on fire scene reconnaissance and does not participate in the main fire extinguishing operations. Its core role is to replace personnel to complete front-line high-risk exploration tasks and significantly reduce the operational risks of fire rescue personnel.
